Islamic Relief is an international relief and development charity founded in 1984 with its headquarters in Birmingham, UK. As well as responding to disasters and emergencies, Islamic Relief promotes sustainable economic and social development by working with local communities – regardless of race, religion, or gender. In Kosovo, Islamic Relief started its activity in 1999.

Islamic Relief Kosova is currently looking for a potential candidate to join our dedicated Team as Intern.

✨ JOB PURPOSE:

• 📊 Reports & Payments: Manage annual and zakat reports, track donor payments, and update records.
• 💰 Donor Management: Monitor payments, send reminders, and follow up on overdue accounts.
• 🚫 Sponsorship Updates: Track withdrawals, reassign orphans, and coordinate with ODS.
• 🎯 Campaigns & Engagement: Secure new donors, finalize agreements, and ensure timely payments.
• 💻 Data & Records: Register donors, update systems, and process orphan payment lists.
• 🎁 Gift & Meeting Coordination: Handle donor gifts and facilitate meetings while ensuring privacy.
• ✅ Family Sponsorship & Year-End Review: Verify payments and finalize donor lists.
• 🔄 Other Duties: Support organizational needs as required. 
  
  

🎓 QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS

• 📚 Education: Studying or graduated in economics, business, in social science or a related field.
• 💻 Tech Skills: Basic Microsoft Office; financial software knowledge is a plus.
• 📊 Attention to Detail: Strong organizational and record-keeping skills.
• 🤝 Communication: Ability to engage with donors and work in a team.
• ⏳ Time Management: Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.
• 🌍 Passion for Humanitarian Work: Commitment to IRK’s mission and values.

🛠 SKILLS

• Excellent word processing, Excel, and database skills.
• Excellent organizational skills.
• Demonstrable administration and office management skills.
• Experience in setting up and maintaining management information and data retrieval systems.
• Experience in diary and correspondence management.
• Strong written communication skills necessary to draft letters, reports, and other documentation.
• Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills and excellent telephone manner.

📚 KNOWLEDGE

• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Knowledge and understanding of using relationship management database software.
